About Diane

Diane Coll was born in Chicago and grew up on a steady diet of 70’s AM/FM radio.  After dabbling in the Chicago music scene, she felt the pull toward Georgia due to the vibrant music scene in Athens.  She currently lives in the Atlanta area and works as a mental health therapist. Says Diane, "Music has always been my therapy and, as a lifelong music lover, I truly honor the sacred connection between the musician and listener. It’s a beautiful dance where change is inevitable."

Diane's fifth solo album, Strangely in Tune, has been receiving positive accolades in the digital press since its release on January 6, 2026.  Most notably, she was a featured artist on NPR's “Great American Folk Show” (February 2025 and January 2026) and has been a recurring guest on Baruch Zeichner's syndicated “Paradigms” podcast since 2022.

Diane's previous releases, Happy Fish and Other Delights, Into the Fire (EP), Old Ghosts, and Up From The Mud,  made noteworthy showings on FAI and NACC folk charts, including 25th Top Artist in January 2024 and 24th Top Artist in January 2025.  A prolific writer, Diane is currently gearing up to work on her next solo album, slated for an early 2027 release.
